Three-quarters of the way through the Le Mans 24 Hours, Strakka Racing is positioned inside the top 10, ahead of all but one of the LMP2 prototypes, and aiming to run flat-out over the remaining six hours to try and overtake P1 cars ahead of it.

Danny Watts did a magnificent quadruple night time stint to move us up from 18th to 11th, before Nick Leventis did a faultless sunrise double-shift, swiftly guiding the Honda Performance Development ARX-03a through one of the most hazardous parts of the race without losing a place.

The car was momentarily put in the garage for fluid pressure checks to be carried out during the next driver swap, meaning that Jonny Kane returned to the track in 12th. He also put in a mega fast and long stint, with only the works Audis lapping quicker track, as he powered the car into the top 10.

Danny has now returned to the cockpit, with the identical JRM car immediately ahead and in his sights. After 18 hours, it’s poised to be a very exciting end to this year’s 24 Hours.
